iControls is excited to announce details of our contribution to this year’s ICC.
The ICC 2021 International Schedule features sessions and events presented by Inductive Automation Distributors from around the globe. We are honoured to be among Distributors from Central America, Italy, Norway, South Africa, Switzerland, France and Brazil.
Glen Fry, our Managing Director, is contributing two presentations to the International Schedule this year.
The first is titled ‘Industry 4.0 Turns 10 Years Old – Ignition is the Ideal Present’, and is especially relevant coming from Glen, as he was at Hannover Messe in Germany for the initial introduction of Industry 4.0 in 2011 and continues to work with companies to embrace emerging technology every day.
Regarding this topic, Glen says,
‘Industry 4.0 as a concept is 10 years old in 2021. We look back at where it started, how the idea has adapted pre- and during the pandemic, and then look at how Ignition fits the manufacturing and processing landscape as we emerge into the new normal.’
The second presentation is a live event: ‘Ignition Integrator Program – Panel Discussion – The Road to Premier’. This is a particularly exciting discussion, as it includes three System Integrators that we have close relationships with, and who are outstanding in their commitment to not only Ignition as a product, but to the Ignition Community as a whole.
‘The Premier Integrator badge is not one that’s easy to achieve and just as hard to maintain. Listen to the stories of successful SI’s that have built their skills and success with Ignition to achieve Premier status. You’ll hear about the benefits of being Premier, their approach to achieving it, the process, and the responsibility of maintaining the highest levels of project delivery and Ignition community involvement.’
Inductive Automation Premier Integrator status is a highly esteemed and sought-after level awarded only to Integrators demonstrating a high level of commitment, professionalism, and competency using Ignition software. Premier status is the elite of Integrators and, as such, they have proven their partnership with Inductive Automation through their technical expertise and continued successful Ignition projects. Given this, we’re now excited to announce that the System Integrators who will be on the live discussion panel are:
